In the featured bout of the evening, George Sullivan (12-3) will look to successfully defend his CFFC welterweight title against wrestling phenom, Brandon Becker (6-0).In the co-main event, Sean “Shorty Rock” Santella (12-3-1) will defend his CFFC flyweight for the fourth consecutive time against a daunting challenger, Dave Morgan (5-2).

Charlie Brenneman Signs Three Fight Deal

Former UFC welterweight Charlie Brenneman has signed a three-fight contract with the New Jersey-based Cage Fury Fighting Championships.

Sherdog.com Friday verified the signing with Arias Garcia, CFFC matchmaker and general manager, who also revealed that the promotion has signed onetime UFC featherweight and former CFFC champion Joey Gambino to a multi-fight deal. Brenneman is expected to make his promotional debut at CFFC 23, which takes place April 12 from the Valley Forge Casino Resort in King of Prussia, Pa.

DOVER, DE – Cage Fury Fighting Championships (CFFC) headed south this weekend to the Dover Downs Hotel and Casino in Dover, DE for CFFC XVII.

The highly anticipated match drew a crowd that packed the Rollins Center and the night began with two matches of local amateur fighters dueling it out and giving it their all to prove themselves in the hopes of one day advancing to the professional level.
